I am a woman; that’s a hurdle. I am a mother. I am a single mum with no family support. I am a mother of disabled child. I am a carer. I have a chronic illness. I have no savings…. I have no time!!! It’s impossible.
I did the impossible. So if you are in a better position, there is no reason why you shouldn’t.
I am the founder of Functional Food Company and #teamnono. We produce allergy friendly, vegan, gluten free food for people who have to eat differently for health reasons.
At the same time, we offer work placement opportunities for young people with disability and autism. We create our own future.
I share my story in hope to inspire others to take control of their lives.
